clean room great view
the room was large. it was super clean and cozy. the rooftop patio offered great views! breakfast and dinner were yummy.
the building had character though it seemed a bit rough around the edges.

mixed experience, some issues
unreliable shuttle poor communication
the location was convenient, close to various shops and restaurants.
The airport shuttle i booked never arrived! i tried calling the hotel several times, but no one answered. the receptionist just shrugged and said the driver forgot. It was frustrating. there was no follow-up or apology from management either.

Enchanting Stay in Stone Town
harbour view spacious room mosquito net
The breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful with amazing views of the harbour. The room was spacious and clean. I really enjoyed the turn down service provided every night. It included mosquito nets and repellant.
The hotel did not have a lift. I had to use the stairs.

The staff welcomed me warmly and were attentive to my needs. They carried luggage and allowed me to keep my child's pram in reception. Every request was met with a smile and efficient action.

Breakfast was served on the roof top restaurant. It offered amazing views of the harbour and many choices. Each meal I enjoyed in the restaurant was delicious. I liked the seafood options.

The hotel sits very close to the main road and the waterfront. It is a short walk to the night market. Many historical and cultural attractions are easily accessible.
